Global Education Leader Rishi Gupta Partners with UnlimitMe to Humanize Digital Learning at Free Tutoring Center

FREMONT, CA — Rishi Gupta, President of the Free Tutoring Center (FTC) and a student at BASIS Independent Fremont, today announced a strategic collaboration with UnlimitMe to integrate a deep human connection into the nonprofit’s global academic framework. This partnership aims to augment the Free Tutoring Center’s rigorous peer-to-peer instruction with holistic mentorship and emotional intelligence, making sure students receive both academic support and personal guidance.

As the President of the Free Tutoring Center, Gupta has already demonstrated an extraordinary ability to scale educational impact. Under his presidency, the nonprofit expanded its reach across 10 countries, increasing its student base by 67% and its tutor network by 55%. By collaborating with UnlimitMe, Gupta is evolving the organization’s mission to bridge the gap between academic proficiency and the human-centric support students need to thrive in a digital age.

“Our goal is to make sure that while we provide world-class tutoring, we never lose sight of the student behind the screen,” said Rishi Gupta. “Partnering with UnlimitMe allows us to add a layer of mentorship that empowers students to reach their full potential through genuine connection.”

The collaboration is a natural extension of Gupta’s extensive work in technology, policy, and community leadership, spanning award-winning work on AI ethics as a finalist in the OpenAI-associated Global Dialogues Challenge, leadership of a National AI policy initiative in education, and civic advocacy as a Committee Lead with the California Association of Youth Commissions.

Augmenting the Free Tutoring Center

The integration with UnlimitMe will enhance FTC’s current operations by providing tutors with training focused on mentorship and student resilience. While Gupta has successfully managed the organization's global growth and technical infrastructure, this new initiative focuses on the “soft skills” of education, making sure that every student in the FTC network feels seen, heard, and supported.

By combining high-level technical expertise with an empathetic, human-first approach, Gupta is setting a new standard for global volunteer-led education.
